I heard that you went out last night, and you looked beautiful

just a few more days until the offical start of summer! this week is my “summer vacation” since summer classes start next week. I have big plans for this week which includes, but not limited to, eating my weight in oreos, sleeping until noon, and reading past midnight. seriously though. I had originally plans to visit the zoo today with friends and the weather is absolutely perfect, but the meercats are in quarantine (which was the main reason for the trip). instead I’ve sat around most of the day watching recordings on the dvr. I think we have a months worth of unwatched little people, big world and doctor who episodes to watch. tomorrow will be the first day this month I’ve worked with tracy. first she had to go off exploring the great outdoors and watchin buffalo roam then I took a week off. I went to visit her last saturday after the sound to narrows race. it was the first I had seen her in 14 days! talk about serious seperation anxiety. so I promised (well more stated I would than swore on) that I would read a book for everday we were apart. so here’s the list.

(1) lock and key: Sarah Dessen

 (2) catch a rising star: Bateman

(3) the next thing on my list: Smolinski

(4) are you there vodka? its me chelsea: Chelsea Handler

(5) just listen :Sarah Dessen

(6) tempted: Cecily Von Ziegesar

(7) marked: PC & Kristen Cast

(8) betrayed: PC & Kristen Cast

(9) undead & unwed: MaryJanice Davidson

(10) vampire kisses: Ellen Schreiber

(11) there’s no place like here: Cecelia Ahern

(12) Like a charm: Candice Havens

(13) kissing coffins: Ellen Schreiber

(14) undead & unemployed: MaryJanice Davidson

If you want more info on any of the listed book leave a comment of keep an eye out on my recommended reads section. maybe at some point this week i’ll get the chance to work on that. meanwhile, i’m working 3 days this week, getting my haircut, visiting the new exhibit at the seattle art museum, and raising money for relay for life. looks like another busy week. going nowhere, fast. story of my life. another day, another book.

edit: recommended reads has been updated and i’ve added a page devoted to Kelley Armstrong.
